In Wings of Heroes, the Squadron Leader is automatically assigned to the player who originally created the squadron. This player remains the leader for as long as the squadron exists or until they choose to leave.

If the current leader leaves the squadron, leadership is automatically transferred to the longest-standing member—that is, the first player who joined after the original leader and is still an active member. This rule continues to apply each time a leader leaves: the next most senior member (based on join date) becomes the new leader.

⚠️ At this time:

• Manual leadership transfer is not supported.

• There are no roles for vice-leader or co-leader.

The development team is exploring improvements to squadron management features, including leadership options, but no specific timeline for these updates is currently available.
