Having trouble launching Wings of Heroes? Don't worry, many common issues can be solved with these basic troubleshooting steps.
Important: Your game progress is usually saved to your account. We recommend linking your account (Google Play, Apple ID, Facebook, etc.) to ensure your progress is safe before trying these steps.

Step 1: Restart the game

Often, a fresh start is all you need.

• Close the Wings of Heroes app completely. Make sure the game is fully shut down (swipe it away from your recent apps).


• Re-open the game. Wait a few seconds, then try launching Wings of Heroes again.

Step 2: Restart your device

If the game still won't open, your device might need a reset.

• Power off your device. Hold the power button until you see the option to shut it down.


• Wait about 30 seconds. Let it fully power off.
• Turn your device back on.


• Launch the game.

Step 3: Clear the cache or reinstall

If steps 1 and 2 don't work, the issue might be with the game's files. Now you have two options.

Option A: Clear game cache (recommended first)

This removes temporary files without affecting your game progress.

Android: Go to Settings -> Apps -> Wings of Heroes -> Storage, then tap Clear Cache.

iOS: iOS doesn't have a direct Clear Cache. You can try the Offload App in Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage -> Wings of Heroes, then reinstall.

Option B: Reinstall the game (if clearing the cache fails)

This is a full reinstall. Make sure your game progress is linked to an account before doing this, or you might lose it!

• Remove the Wings of Heroes app from your device.


• Once uninstalled, restart your phone or tablet.
• Download and install the game again from your device's app store.


• Open the game and log in with your linked account to restore your progress.
