There are 6 different, active Power-ups in Fishing Clash.
The number below each power-up tells you how many of those you have. Each time you strike your rod with power-ups active, their number decreases by one.
You can earn power-ups by leveling up, completing collections, and participating in certain events. You can also find them in packs and purchase them in the in-game shop.
• Weight +15% – A crucial power-up that lets you catch fish 15% heavier than normal. It ultimately improves your chances and your rewards. This power-up is represented by a weight icon with a KG symbol on it.
• Chance for a given fish +100% – Invaluable, when you need to catch a specific fish species. This power-up increases the likelihood of hooking such fish to 100%. Important: this power-up won’t work with the generic fishery lure. This power-up is represented by a dice.
• Fishing speed +50% – This power-up shortens the landing time by 50%. It’s a must during duels and comes in very handy in all the game tasks and events that require speedy fishing. This power-up has a stopwatch icon.
• Luck – This power-up helps you catch bigger specimens, which directly benefits you in almost all kinds of game tasks and events. This power-up is represented as a clover.
• Multi-hook – This power-up lets you catch two fish at the same time. Important: the use of the multi-hook will consume double the number of other active power-ups.
• Sonar* – Gives you an insight into what fish you've hooked and shows you its weight range. This power-up lets you decide quickly whether it’s worth continuing to struggle with a given fish. You can abort the process at any time without having to land the fish and recast the line quickly.
* Please also note that even though the precision of Sonar may be increased to 100% accuracy, the fish weight will still be shown as a range. With 100% Sonar accuracy, the point range is due to the Combo bar; you need to land a 100% Combo for the best result.
Additionally, in the Settings menu, you may toggle between FAST and SLOW Sonar. The slow option ensures you have enough time to decide whether to keep the fish or look for a different one. The fast Sonar feature is useful for advanced anglers who take part in competitive events in Fishing Clash. It allows you to quickly find your next catch, which is useful when time is of the essence. But be careful: fast is not always safe, so when fishing with this kind of Sonar, you may accidentally overlook a whopper and there's no way to undo that!
