Many locations feature a special “Missions” mode available via the round button in the bottom-center of the main screen.
Most missions consist of 4 basic chapters and 1 premium chapter that may have additional entry requirements, e.g., reaching a specific threshold in the Golden Pass. NOTE: Requirements may differ depending on the location.
Every chapter contains a series of missions. Each one has 3 difficulty levels: easy, medium and hard. Some missions can be repeated by using a Mission Repeat Token, usually represented as a circular token with a crow icon.
EQUIPMENT
Equipment is one of the most important aspects of Missions. On the left side of the screen you see general stats, such as Equipment Power. Moving to the right, you will see various items that can be upgraded using Materials.
Materials are divided into the following rarity tiers, each with specific level ranges and colors:
Common, gray (levels 1-5)
Rare, blue (levels 6-10)
Epic, green (levels 11-15)
Mythic, purple (levels 16-20)
Legendary, golden (levels 21-25)
When a location with the Missions feature is released, all players start with level 0 equipment, and can obtain common materials (for levels 1-5) from event thresholds or other sources.
Typically, the following week introduces the next stage, allowing players to obtain materials from the next rarity tier (Rare, blue, for levels 6-10). You cannot use materials from a higher tier until you finish the last one. For example, to use Rare materials, you have to reach level 5 using Common materials.
Common materials cannot be used for equipment above level 5. For example, if your equipment is at level 11 and you purchase Common materials, they will be useless for you. This rule applies to all rarity tiers.
